The metronome is a great tool because it never lies! It is a consistent reminder of pace and timing. While some people might find the metronome to be an annoying reminder of regimented piano lessons, it is useful for establishing rhythm, cadence, and the structure of a select practice or exercise.
Time: 5 Minutes
Format: Every Minute on the Minute (EMOM) do 15 squats to the sound of the 60 BPM metronome timer. This works out to be 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off. When trying this challenge you'll start upright and go down in 1 second (or on 1 beat), and then return to your starting position in 1 second (1 beat). There are 2 beats per repetition, or 30 beats for 15 reps.
Equipment: No equipment needed. However, you may decide to change or remove footwear depending on what you're wearing.
Metronome: 60 BPM
